Summary: The League Acquisition Coordinator would be responsible for acquiring new and building existing league and tournament business for the company. He/she facilitates fulfillment of department goals and company initiatives.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work directly with center League Champions/GM/DM/RVP to develop, retain and recruit new leagues and tournaments. Help identify opportunity days to grow leagues and have knowledge of the league acquisition funds program. Be aware of the market conditions and opportunities to recruit new or existing tournaments. (Local, State or National Tournaments)
    • Be more aware of our competition (struggling centers, closures, facility issues that drive out their leagues, etc.) and respond accordingly
  • Be a point of contact for league acquisitions (center closures or acquiring new leagues from competitors) and tournaments. Will provide support to the centers and outside organizations to ensure positive experiences in all centers
    • Participate in league officer meetings
  • Coordinate with the Leagues Department to promote new strategies and league or tournament structures for centers. This would include attending weekly department calls, monthly league initiatives calls, district calls and RVP calls where applicable
  • Development, retention and recruitment of existing and new bowlers and leagues. Play an avid role in the company’s Fall/mid-season/Summer outreach
    • Visit leagues throughout the company
    • Attend League Officer meetings and individual league meetings if applicable
  • Complete any weekly and monthly reporting that is necessary to ensure all financial data
    • Review and audit revenue reports
      • League Revenue Report
      • League and tournaments statements/accounts in NSB
    • Update Acquisition Tracker
  • Partner with the centers on league availability and ensures all league details are accurate within LMA
  • Drive additional revenue of current programs while working closely with Directors to identify any gaps in league revenue or specials
  • Identifies new and innovative ways to assist with growing the league and tournament business
  • There will be travel involved with this position throughout the company to assist with in person meetings, outside recruitment and tournament support where applicable

 

QUALIFICATIONS: League Acquisition Coordinator possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees), solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.).

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: B.A. /B.S. degree. 3 to 5 years related experience.  Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
