Job Summary

The HRIS Specialist provides first-level application and operational support for HR systems. This role troubleshoots system issues, assists with configuration testing, ensures data accuracy, and supports HR processes across the organization.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides first-level application and operational support for HR systems, including troubleshooting, identifying problems, and resolving user issues.
  • Researches and resolves process flaws, unexpected results, or data discrepancies.
  • Serves as a liaison to managers and district leaders regarding HRIS questions and correct submission of personnel changes.
  • Supports testing and validation for configuration changes, upgrades, module implementations, and integrations.
  • Assists in system projects and new software implementation activities.
  • Identifies training needs and develops training materials for end users.
  • Conducts training sessions on HR system processes (e.g., background check process, data submission procedures).
  • Evaluates and processes paperwork from centers, including new hire documentation, performance reviews, and personnel changes.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational standards and applicable state/federal regulations.
  • Works closely with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Supports unemployment claim documentation and communications with third-party vendors.
  • Generates routine reports based on requests from HR and management.

The approximate pay range for this position is $60,000 -$65,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
