WHAT TO EXPECT

Job Summary.  We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Support Specialist  to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform various construction tasks, ensuring construction projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively at various interior cosmetic remodeling projects at a bowling center, family entertainment center, and similar environments.  This role will require heavy travel and ability to lodge at project sites for extended periods. Join our team today and contribute to renovating exceptional projects while advancing career in the construction industry. 

Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Engage in the preparation and cleanup of interior construction sites. 

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. 

• Perform light demolition work as required 

• Perform skilled tasks such as painting, framing, drywall installation, and wall prep 

• Perform light carpentry work, such as hanging wood doors, installing hardware, installing toilet partitions, etc. 

• Perform millwork assembly installations (i.e. service stations, tops, etc.) 

• Perform electrical lighting fixture replacements (i.e. like-for-like) 

• Perform flooring install such as vinyl planks and tile (will depend on experience) 

• Install new furniture packages 

• Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. 

• Conduct basic construction inspections to ensure quality standards are met. 

• Help restore areas of the interior construction site as needed. 

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. 

• Ability to work extended workdays to support business needs. 

• Other duties may be assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction. 

• Familiarity with construction inspection processes and quality assurance. 

• Ability to read and understand schematics related to construction projects. 

• Experience with flooring installation such as tile or Vinyl planks is a plus 

• Knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing systems is a plus. 

• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required. 

• Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety on the job site. 

 
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience.  Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. 

Travel: This role will require heavy travel and ability to lodge near center sites for extended periods. 

Work Environments / Physical Demands: Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers; must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite, this may include walking, climbing (including ladders), reaching, bending, crawling or stretching.  Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.  Will require air travel.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour.
